Staff

Our dedicated staff is fully committed to giving the recovering addict/alcoholic the best opportunity of success in their treatment program. Our staff includes State certified and licensed counselors that possess years of treatment and life experience. We believe that no other person can truly understand the recovering addict/alcoholic better than another who has shared the same life experiences. This gives our staff a unique understanding of the downward life spiral that happens so often at the hands of drugs and alcohol addiction. We are also grateful to work directly with Dr. Suzie Schuder, MD. Her cutting edge research and treatment in the field of psychoneuralendocrinolgy has proven to be phenomenally successful in even the most seemingly hopeless cases. Dr. Schuder’s published research work is available here on our site under the section “dual diagnosis” for your perusal and general information. The contained information may shed some light on what the addict/alcoholic may be suffering from all along. Body and brain chemistry imbalances left undiagnosed and untreated will cause continued symptoms and self-medication methods. There will always be relapse. There are graduates of our program that, for the first times in their adult lives, feel comfortable with themselves and who they are. They are, for the first time, happy and hopeful. Our registered dietician and nutritionalist, Ms. Marissa Kent, RD., also adds the dimension of a healthy diet to our treatment program. Each resident is positively assisted in areas such as weight gain/loss objectives, self-esteem, body perception and nutrition education. Our licensed MFT, Ms. Regina Lindner, LMFT., also does additional individual sessions dealing with such issues as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Post Acute Withdrawl Syndrome (PAWS), trauma, grief and loss, depersonalization and anxiety. Our treatment program team has been working together for many years and take a deep personal interest in each resident’s treatment and process of recovery. We believe in ourselves to provide the best possible care. We believe in the process of recovery and treatment. We believe in the addict/alcoholic where it is possible for them to change and live a better, more fulfilling life. We believe we can help.
