Having clarity of thought, and setting goals for a successful future are the keys to recovery of the mind.
Seacliff Recovery Center has recognized that if you are to have success in the real world, then you must experience an environment that is structured and safe that mirrors this world. We have designed a program to assist you in your daily living. Your daily schedule will hold you accountable for completing individual and group tasks on time and taking responsibility for doing them well. You will experience a five-day “work” week with a weekend of recreation and relaxation.
Healing the Addicted Mind
Seacliff Recovery has designed an educational system to assess your level of coping and current level of education to ascertain your needs for work and school. The resources to attain those goals are all supported through our daily schedule of individual, group, and family counseling sessions, workshops, and lectures. You will attend workshops on Nutrition Education, Relapse Prevention, and interactive lectures on the Psychological Effects of Drugs and Alcohol. Seacliff Recovery will also provide you with guidance in seeking employment, returning to school, and performing community service.
Your addiction affects all people in your personal and professional life. Your current environment and the environment in which you grew up nourish your addiction. Generational and inter-generational wounds caused by addiction must be addressed. Weekly family groups and workshops help you and your family to better understand the disease concept more clearly and start healing the addicted mind on both sides.
