I had spent 7 years buried in my addiction. I found myself wanting to stop but just did not know how. Eventually I lost everything that I thought was important to me. Jobs, money, relationships and almost my life. I ended up in the ER where I was told I had “flat lined” from my overdose of pills and alcohol. It was then I knew something had to change. I had to change. But how? I needed help and had no idea of how that was to happen. My family, in their last ditch effort to save my life, found Seacliff Recovery Center. I entered their 90 day residential treatment program figuring I really didn’t have anything to lose anyway. To my amazement I began to hear what the counselors and therapists had to say. This was no ordinary rehab center (which I was afraid of). Their ability to relate to my greatest fears and the darkness I had lived in for so long gave me a feeling of belonging again. I ended up staying on in their sober living program for an additional 3 months after completing the 90 day program and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my young life. I have nowf been able to stay clean and sober for over 2 years and I am back to doing what I love to do which is play music. My group has just signed with a record label and we leave for our month long European tour next month. I have my family back in my life and friends that are truly friends. I will be forever grateful to Seacliff and their staff for everything they did (and continue to do) me and my family.
