Seacliff Drug Intervention ProgramsSeacliff Recovery Center provides individualized assistance for friends and family who need help with a drug intervention. Many times families and loved ones try to talk to someone they love about addiction, and are met with resentment, anger, and denial. When families are unable to get their loved one to accept help on their own, our staff can step in and facilitate an intervention and help get the person into rehab. Our certified intervention specialists have extensive experience in planning and implementing a successful drug or alcohol intervention. We are here to help families get their loved one the addiction treatment that they need.
Drug InterventionAn intervention is an effective tool that can be used to help an individual accept help. Effective drug intervention programs allow families to honestly and openly confront the person they care about with solid facts about how they are destroying their own life, and hurting those around them in the process. The ultimate goal is to get them to agree to go to rehab that day. All pieces need to be in place ahead of time for an alcohol or drug intervention to work. An intervention should not be about blaming the individual, or demeaning them. Because emotions often run high when loved ones confront one another, families that attempt to hold an intervention on their own can actually cause more harm than good.
Drug Intervention ProgramsThe professional staff of Seacliff Recovery offers families a well-planned drug intervention that will give them the guidance and information they need to decide how best to approach their loved one. We give loved ones the skills they need, as well as the professional back up to carry out the intervention. Our intervention services help provide families with information and support every step of the way. Our staff will help families:
- Decide who should attend the intervention
- Plan the time and place
- Assist in writing letters that will be read to the loved one during the intervention
- Practice and role-play what might happen at the intervention
- Determine ahead of time which rehab resources are needed
