Extended Care Program for Addiction
Seacliff Recovery Center offers clients the opportunity to gradually transition between our treatment programs, in order to help them address any issues they face along the way and to prevent relapse. Our Extended Care Program divides rehab into three phases. Each phase gives the client a little more freedom and responsibility, but still provides them with the structure of rehab that they need as they get their life back on track.
Seacliff Recovery Extended Care Program
Our 90-day Extended Care Program for Addiction is divided into three levels that provide clients with a safe and structured environment. In our program, clients work through unresolved issues of pain, grief and loss, and remain focused on their own needs and issues. The structure of partial hospitalization helps the client focus on their recovery and avoid the triggers to use. Outpatient treatment helps clients begin the transition to real life. The sober living program helps them ensure success and avoid relapse.
Clients in our Extended Care Program work with Dr. Schuder in our beautiful Huntington Beach environment, where they discover possible physiological reasons for continued struggles with relapse and self-medication. Our licensed MFT, Ms. Regina Lindner, also works with clients in areas such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and anxiety. In the Seacliff Recovery Extended Care Program, clients confront their addiction cycle, begin building a foundation for recovery, and develop a new support system. In our Extended Care Recovery Program for Addiction clients integrate their mind, body, and spirit so that they can enjoy sustained recovery.
Phases of the Extended Care Program
Seacliff Recovery Center divides the Extended Care Program for Addiction into three distinct phases. Each phase encompasses individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, meditation, twelve-step meetings, occupational workshops, educational workshops, and nutritional assessment. The following describes the focus of each phase:
Phase I (Basic) 5 weeks – Provides the foundation for recovery and introduces the tools for sobriety.
Phase II (Purpose) 4 weeks – Provides the professional and social skills for the client to re-enter commitments such as employment, returning to school for degree or vocational training and community service while simultaneously remaining active in recovery.
Phase III (Integration) 3 weeks – Provides a structured environment for clients to solidify the process of recovery and life’s responsibilities.
Seacliff Recovery center offers clients the individualized treatment they deserve. We keep loved ones involved in the recovery process, and can help those in need of information about insurance or family intervention services.
